Description
A truly magnificent antique Victorian carved walnut double bed dating from circa 1895. In a richly figured walnut, with attractive foliate carving throughout. Featuring carved top rails with turned twin pilaster supports and vertical slats, the footboard with a carved central panel. It has a Vono frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Good warm patina and colour to the frame. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails and complete with a pine slatted bed base which make a very solid bed (no mattress or bedding included).
