Description
A magnificent antique Victorian Arts and Crafts walnut and inlaid double bed dating from circa 1895. In a richly figured walnut, with attractive mother of satinwood and mother of pearl inlay to the headboard and footboard in a Glasgow School influenced design. Featuring shaped top rails with vertical slats and twin pillaster supports topped with flat cap finials. It has a drop-in iron frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Good warm patina and colour to the frame. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails and complete with a pine slatted bed base (no mattress or bedding included).
