Description
A handsome antique Late Victorian mahogany and inlaid double bed dating from circa 1895. In a richly figured mahogany frame, the headboard and footboard inlaid with satinwood. Featuring oval shaped flame figured mahogany veneers to the footboard and headboard with cross banded satinwood inlay to the top rails. It has a Vono frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Good warm patina and colour to the frame. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails and complete with a pine slatted bed base which make a very solid bed (no mattress or bedding included).
