Description
A handsome antique Edwardian oak double bed dating from circa 1910. In a richly figured quarter sawn oak, the headboard and footboard are of a panelled construction with attractive Jacobean revival carved motifs. It stands on large turned feet and has a Vono frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Good warm patina and colour to the frame. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails and complete with a pine slatted bed base which make a very solid bed (no mattress or bedding included).

Beautiful patina and good colour. Wear and marks commensurate with age. There are some filled holes to the frame and some small gaps along the joints of the panels which have shrunk over time.
