Description
An elegant antique Edwardian mahogany and inlaid double bed dating from circa 1905. In a richly figured mahogany frame, the headboard and footboard extensively inlaid with satinwood and ebony in an Arts and Crafts style. Featuring chequered banding and a diamond motif to the central splats of the footboard and headboard. It has a Vono frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Good warm patina and colour to the frame. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails and complete with a pine slatted bed base which make a very solid bed (no mattress or bedding included).
