A magnificent antique Victorian brass single bed by James Shoolbred & Co of London. A good quality all brass single bed, with turned spindles and turned finials with a distinctive Aesthetic movement influenced design. suitable for standard single mattress 90cm x 190cm. Pretty design with original castors. Makers label on foot bar which reads: “James Shoolbred & Co Tottenham House London”. Features a headboard, footboard and two side irons. Provided with a slatted base so all you need to do is add your own standard UK size single mattress on top.

Good condition. Beautiful original patina to brass with good colour. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Some small end beads have been replaced over the years, a couple missing to headboard.
