Description
A charming antique Edwardian Arts and Crafts carved oak king size bed dating from circa 1905. The richly figured oak frame, with attractive wavy rails, the central splats of the headboard and footboard with geometric panel and carved central cartouche with heart shaped motifs. It stands on square legs and is supported by barley supports. It has a Vono frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Good warm patina and colour to the frame. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails and complete with a pine slatted bed base which make a very solid bed (no mattress or bedding included).
